Medical Transcription is one of the fastest growing fields in healthcare. Medical Transcriptionists are in great demand in India as well as in Western countries especially in the US where the entire healthcare industry is based on insurance and detailed medical records are needed for processing insurance claims. Medical transcription could be one of the speedy growing IT enabled service in India also, with the rapid change in the outlook in Indian healthcare and privatization of the insurance sector. India provides an ideal location for conducting medical transcription with the large population of educated English speaking people and the comparative low cost which encourages companies abroad to outsource their work to the Indian Medical Transcription field.
Our primarily goal is to provide trainees with all the educational training necessary to begin working immediately following completion of the course. Our curriculum is not a collection of textbooks and unrelated dictations. This is a unique tried and tested program developed by MTs (Medical Transcriptionists) to take a trainee, step-by-step through every competency required to succeed on the job.
Starting with the introduction of concepts and proceeding to the actual transcription of hundreds of "real" reports our curriculum have proven extremely effective in developing the skill sets trainees require. Our s ix months’ rigorous training program requiring 4 hours a day for 4 days a week initially and moving on to 6 days a week for 8 hours a day at later stages. Basic course curriculum includes:

After exposure to basic computer’s functioning and to typing and keyboarding skills. The first phase of Medical Transcription Program starts with learning medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology. Comprehending the terms you'll encounter as a transcriptionist is the key to success in this profession.
After this portion of the program, you'll learn how to accurately transcribe the dictated words of physicians with a wide range of tones and accents for a variety of medical specialties through the textbook and accompanying dictations and simultaneously would learn about various medical specialties.
There are also weekly tests conducted both on theory and transcription on each Medical Specialty.
Fifth month of training include dummy “live-job” scenario and the selected trainees are then swiftly transferred to on-the-job practical training.
The most important factor in trainees' eventual success is their own commitment, investment of time and hard work.
